Jordan and Zach’s wedding took place on a gorgeous & breezy day at the Irvine Estate this past July. I first met these two back in 2015 at Logan & Patrick’s wedding in Staunton. During dinner, I sat at a table with a few people I knew from home and a sweet young couple I hadn’t met before (Jordan and Zach). A few months later, they reached out to me about shooting their own wedding! It’s so fun to shoot a bunch of weddings for a group of friends. Not only was one of my past brides at Jordan and Zach’s wedding, but one of my future couples, too, (Hey, Katie & Jacob)!
Jordan also booked a Bridal Session (post coming soon!) and we decided to take the photos at their venue a couple of weeks before the wedding. The first time I drove out to Irvine Estate, the views took my breath away. Lexington countryside is beautiful with wide open land at the summit of tree covered mountains. What’s even more incredible is the view from the top. Sitting on the top of Big House Mountain, you will find this beautiful venue surrounded by 360 degree views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you’re a mountain person like me, do yourself a favor and take a drive out that way sometime. You won’t regret it.
Congratulations, Jordan & Zach!
